Court Judgment: Sacked Labour Party guber candidate, Edeoga advises supporters to shun fake news, collapses structure for Odengene
The recently sacked Labour Party guber candidate in Enugu State, Chijioke Edeoga has admonished supporters to desist from generating fake news against other gubernatorial candidates in the state.
Chief Edeoga who said this after he was resuscitated at the Texford Specialist Hospital, Abuja following a health challenge he had at the Federal High Court, Abuja after Justice Evelyn Maha delivered judgement that sacked him as the gubernatorial candidate of the party and ordered that fresh primary be conducted for all the qualified candidates in the next 14 days.
In a statement issued immediately he regained consciousness, he also advised his supporters all over the state to support Chief Evarest Nnaji, stating that their long time friendship cannot be severed by politics.
“I appreciate you all for such support throughout the moment, may we please support Chief Evarest Nnaji.
I will also want to appeal that we refrain from he generating fake news on any candidate,especially Peter Mbah, PDP guber candidate. Animosity will take us nowhere. We need to change our ways because there is life after politics.”
