Tinubu old enough to be your father, endorsement sign of foolishness – Edeoga lambasts Nweke

Chijioke Edeoga, the gubernatorial candidate of the Labour Party in Enugu State has yesterday lashed out at Frank Nweke jnr., the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Enugu State for being used by the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Ugochukwu Agballah and other stakeholders of the party to work against Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party.

Addressing supporters during his campaign visit to Ogrute in Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area, Mr Edeoga urged the people to reject any move by the opposition parties to force them into voting for any candidate apart from Peter Obi in the forthcoming elections, alleging that Frank Nweke has agreed to be used as a puppet in the hands of Enugu APC to work assiduously towards the victory of Bola Ahmed Tinubu of All Progressives Congress.

He never spared a word in lambasting the former Minister of Information and Communication for choosing a senile Yoruba man who is old enough to be his grandfather, stating that other ethnic groups were able to sideline the Igbo race in the political equation of the country because of the selfishness of people like Nweke.

The guber candidate also assured the people of Igbo-Eze North that his administration will leave no stone unturned in ensuring that all their needs are met if he wins the gubernatorial race.

“It is very pathetic that the ilk of Frank Nweke who is supposed to be at the forefront of this Obidient race has been bought and now working for Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress. What is the future of our younger generation if this foundation is being destroyed by allowing this great country to collapse in the hands of our great-grandfather?

Ugochukwu Agballah with his dirty style of politics has succeeded in buying people like Frank Nweke over to their camp to work against Peter Obi in Enugu State. We all read it in the news where Nweke unashamedly said that Tinubu is more competent than our own brother and presidential candidate of the Labour Party. I shed tears seeing our people sacrificing our children’s future just because of money”, Edeoga laments.

Meanwhile, the campaign visit to Ogrute witnessed a massive turnout of the people who assured to vote for the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.
