Breaking: Labour Party Plans To Use OBJ’s Son In Military, Retired Police, Military Officers To Rig Enugu Governorship Election

Ahead of today governorship and state assembly elections in Enugu State, investigations have revealed that the Enugu State Labour Party has perfected plans to use some serving military officers, as well as retired military and police personnel led by former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s son in the military, Brigadier-General Olugbemi Obasanjo whom they influenced his recent posting to Enugu as the Garrison Commander of the 44 Engineers Brigade of the 82 Division of the Nigerian Army, Enugu, purposely to rig the governorship and state assembly elections in favour of Labour Party in Enugu North Senatorial zone.
A source in the military who pleaded anonymity disclosed that Obasanjo’s son is working with Rtd Major General Chika Ezugwu from Obukpa and Rtd Major General Chris Eze from Udenu LGA who are Labour Party members. Other serving and retired military officers and police personnel working for Labour Party are presently harassing ,bullying and intimidating PDP members in their homes and hotels in Nsukka ahead of today’s elections.
A staff of INEC who also pleaded anonymity disclosed that the military personnel attached to their office in Nsukka have been giving top chieftains of Labour Party access to their office and materials for the elections.
“What the military personnel and other security agents attached to our office do is to ask people if they are for Labour Party or PDP. If they answer that they are for Labour Party, they will allow them in but if they say that are for PDP they will send them back immediately”
“It is obvious that all the security personnel posted to Nsukka for the elections are working for the Labour Party. Our security as INEC personnel is not guaranteed in the election. I am calling on all military hierarchy to withdraw the security personnel deployed to Nsukka for the election and replace them because they have been compromised by the Labour Party in Nsukka who are desperate to manipulate the elections,” the source lamented.
It was disclosed that it was the Labour Party that influenced the posting of the under listed security personnel to Enugu North Senatorial Zone for the sole purpose of rigging the elections for the Labour Party in the zone. Their members have been peddling the list in different Enugu North Zone social media platforms to deceive the unsuspecting public.
Our source urged the public to disregard the list because it is a compromised security list of the Labour Party in Nsukka for the elections.
