Enugu 2023: Those behind “Ego Ndi Enugu video” haters of good things – Enugu Young Democratic Movers
A Pro-democracy group under the aegis of Enugu Young Democracy Movers has reacted to the video making the rounds on social media which was tagged “Ego Ndi Enugu”, describing it as the product of insane minds who feel intimidated by the towering height of the PDP guber candidate, Peter Mbah.
The group president Barr. Alloy Ugwuede who made this known in a terse statement released to the newsmen on Monday, the 24th of December 2022 after a meeting held by the group at The Base event center said that the video is a height of political desperation from the opposition members who never wished to see Enugu grow to an enviable height.
The President also said that the video must not be given any attention by those who truly crave for a better Enugu, stating that no success comes without obstacles. He also queried why those who have winned with PDP since its inception would suddenly turn against the party because they lost elections.
Comr. Alloy said that Enugu has a good candidate in Peter Mbah and should be given an opportunity to replicate the miracle he did in the oil sector to the people of Enugu State.
“I wouldn’t know how our society has degenerated to this extent. Aspirants no longer present their manifestos but wouldn’t cease from mongering allegations and lies to the public. That video making the rounds on the internet is a product of those that feel intimidated by Mbah’s unquestionable track records of achievement both in the private and the public sectors.
As far as I am concerned, I haven’t seen any other candidate in the 2023 guber race that is more competent than Peter Mbah. Mbah has a man in him that is waiting to unleash massive development in Enugu State,” Ugwuede concluded.
