Barely 24 hours after the announcement of the presidential result, Frank Nweke, the All Progressive Grand Alliance guber candidate in Enugu issued a congratulatory message to the president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu describing him as the political lord whose leadership qualities have spread across all works of life.
In a terse statement issued this morning, Mr. Nweke confessed that he has never doubted the capacity of Bola Ahmed Tinubu to win the election, considering that he has not only the support of the core Muslims but also has the clout more than any of the other presidential candidates.
The APGA candidate also lauded President Muhammadu Buhari for giving the enabling ground for conducting the most peaceful, free, fair, and credible presidential election in the history of Nigeria and Africa, describing him as an icon of modern democracy.
He further prays to the president-elect to maintain the unity of Nigeria and restore sanity in the South East through the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu whose hostage in the DSS custody has fuelled lots of killings in the Igbo land.
”It is my joy and that of my family to felicitate you, Sen.Bola Tinubu on this auspicious day in the political history of Nigeria. I have never doubted your capacity to win having known that you are a maker of leaders. I have always believed in your competence and capacity to restore Nigeria to its past glory, and ensure that peace and sanity return in Nigeria, especially in the South East where the activities of unknown gunmen have remained unquelled”, Nweke said.
