News Break: Edeoga incompetent, belongs to old order – Enugu Obidients declares support for Mbah
The Peter Obi support group under the aegis of Enugu Obidient Group has declared that their votes are for Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP) and Peter Mbah, the gubernatorial candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) come 2023 general elections.
The group who made this known through their leader, Dr. Onodugo Ambrose after the false Peter Obi mega rally organized on Saturday, November 5, at Nsukka High School, in Nsukka, said their candidates are Peter Obi and Peter Mbah, stating that the fractional guber candidate of the Enugu Labour Party, Chijioke Edeoga belonged to the old system, wining and dining in PDP throughout his 25 years in public office, and recorded zero achievement, only to play the pseudo saint game now to mislead the people of Enugu. He stated that nothing is wrong with PDP as a party, but bad leaders like Edeoga are the problem.
Comrade Onodugo, while expressing his disappointment on how Edeoga and his co-lie peddlers lured the youths of Enugu State to the venue with the false assurance that Peter Obi would be coming to the mega rally also said that the two candidates, Peter Obi and Peter Mbah were able to earn their trust and support because of their past records of achievements in both the public and the private sectors, unlike Edeoga who has none of these pedigrees.
“We are here today because we were told that our candidate, Peter Obi will be coming to Nsukka. We mobilized our members to come here and pay solidarity to our candidate. Bringing us out here through deceptive means just to coerce the people’s support has gone a long way in telling the public that Chijioke Edeoga the embattled Enugu Labour Party guber candidate lacks character and integrity.
Our code come 2023 general elections is P-square; Peter Obi for president and Peter Mbah for governor in Enugu. We don’t know any other candidate at the presidential and gubernatorial level. We will go for people whose past records of achievement both in the private and public sector speak volume. Edeoga belongs to the old system which is riddled with failure and incompetence, and porting to the Labour Party because of Peter Obi’s movement will not make him a saint. He can chase clout all he wants, but we are going to seperate Paul from Barnabas come 2023.” Comrade Onodugo assured the people.
