Enugu Sit At Home: Edeoga Colludes With IPOB Factional Leader, Simon Ekpa in Desperation to Frustrate Ban

By Fabian Ugwu

Although before now, the relationship between the Labour Party governorship candidate Barr. Chijioke Edeoga and the Finland based factional leader of IPOB, Simon Ekpa has been in the realm of rumour and speculation, today, it is no longer so as Ekpa himself has made it public in his latest tweet on his Twitter handle, where he openly made it clear that Edeoga is one of them and the elected Governor of Enugu State and not Barr Peter Mbah, whom he contemptuously called Oluwale Mbah.

This is not surprising or new to those who have followed the activities of Edeoga since he joined the Labour Party, before and after the election he lost to Mbah. It would be recalled that before the governorship election, there was a trending video of some masked IPOB/Unknown Gunmen members brandishing and threatening to kill anyone in Nsukka area that voted against Edeoga and Labour Party in the election.

Edeoga never denied his membership or support for the IPOB since then till today. Ekpa’s latest tweet and move against the ban of sit at home order by Mbah and declaration of support and strong relationship with Edeoga is a clear confirmation of the age-long camaraderie, conspiracies, plots and collaborations between him and Edeoga to destabilise Enugu under Mbah’s watch.
